Chesham to Buckingham

Here at ABC Removals, we pride ourselves on delivering on outstanding customer service and this showed in one of our most recent projects. One of our latest jobs was a removal from a small village 5 to 6 miles away from High Wycombe to a small rural village on the outskirts of Buckingham. This was a very large job and we ensured that all packing was safe and secure, using our tight access as it was a long drive to the house. We carefully packed a range of valuable possessions and fragile items, including mirrors, glass items, ceramics and ornaments. Our fully trained staff also ensured all items were packed with the most appropriate materials. The Customer was a retired CEO of a large retail chain and we had to pack and take back to our nearest storage units using our modern fleet of vehicles and leave in the warehouse for over 3 days. Thanks to our secure and practical storage options, we were able to hold and store household furniture in our fully protected and versatile storage facilities / warehouse. On completion day, we had to trans-ship the rest of the possessions onto our big lorry roadside (outside a long narrow drive) and then deliver in the afternoon. We were then able to load & deliver the next day. Our customer was very pleased with the job and has since recommended us to a number of other friends in large properties.

Overeseas Removal St Malo to Amersham

As well as local domestic removals, we’re also fully experienced in overseas removals.  On this instance, the customer was very happy with how we communicated throughout the move and acted conscientiously.  The Collect already loaded the lorry from the warehouse (2 man move) and drove to Portsmouth.  We then took an overnight ferry to St. Malo where we arrived early in the morning and drove all day to the outskirts of Toulouse. Our team then slept in the lorry overnight and then headed to the destination near the coast of the Spanish border. Once we arrived at the destination, we then loaded all sentimental and valuable belongings safely and securely. For another night, our committed team of removers slept in the lorry and had breakfast with the customer the following morning.  We then travelled to the next job inland in the mountains where we loaded mainly very old antique furniture and a few boxes.  We then headed back to St. Malo and slept overnight before we returned back to our base in the early hours. The customers have both recommended us to other members of the family and we have returned the now refurbished furniture.  The customers were also extremely impressed by the way we handled potential obstacles that come with an overseas removal and the way we used over 45 years of experience to make the transition as stress-free as possible.

Domestic Removal to Storage After Failed House Purchase

Here at ABC Removals, we understand the complications when it comes to moving.  Whether that being locally, nationally or overseas, we understand that it’s not always straightforward forward. Recently, a customer had us booked for a local move, but then was told at the last minute that the person they were buying from had dropped out because they have lost their job (various reasons for this that can’t be included!). The customer that had requested our help with their proposed removal still had to move out as their contract had completed. Even though we couldn’t move their belongings from their current property to their new home, we still did all we could and assisted in collecting all personal possessions and belongings.  We then moved all items to our secure local storage units.  It’s good to know that even when things don’t go according to plan with your move, we will still have your back. Despite the customer being disappointed with the move not going according to plan, they were very appreciative of our efforts.  All possessions and belongings were kept in our fully secure and monitored facilities.  When the customer finally had their move confirmed, we followed our regular procedure of safe and secure package and unloaded at the new destination. We were thanked again by the customer for our support and co-operation.
